What I work with

We are all complex humans. The issues we bring into therapy will be almost infinite. However, here are a few areas I've worked with a lot.

Stress and burnout

Overwork, the need to be always-on and high performing can render people stressed, drained and cynical. I work with clients to help them manage their energy and once again connect to joy, meaning and purpose in their lives. I spoke more about this on Radio 4.

Anxiety and depression

Many of us feel unable to experience the full range of emotions in our day to day lives. Joy and contentement are eclipsed by fear, lethargy, guilt to name a few. Together, we can explore this, and help you connect with a fuller version of you.

Insomnia

If you suffer from insomnia, you’ll know how it can sap joy and energy from your life. But it not inevitable, and it doesn't need to last forever. Together we can help you get more sleep at night, and more vitality during the day.

Bereavement and loss

Grief is always painful. I can leave us at a loss with what the next step in our lives can or should be. I work at a bereavement service and help clients pick up the pieces after the worst happens.

LGBTQ+ people

My therapy room is a safe space for all queer people. Together, we explore who you are without judgement or pathology. Everyone is welcome. My pronouns are he/him.

Activists

The fight for a fairer, climate-safe world is is important, crucial work. And it can also be overwhelming and brutal. I help activists sustain themselves to stay in the fight.

Ex- Boarders

Those who were separated from their families as children often struggle in particular ways as adults. Together, we can explore that and help you connect to everything that was disallowed when you went to boarding school.
