What I work with

raI work with whatever my clients bring. These experiences include addictions, lack of self-worth, a sense of rudderlessness, anxiety, boarding school syndrome, and others. The truth is, we are all complex humans and so the issues we bring into therapy will be almost infinite. However, here are a few areas I've worked with a lot.

Stress and burnout

Overwork, or overwhelm, can render people stressed, drained and cynical. I work with clients to help them manage their energy and once again connect to join, meaning and purpose in their lives. I spoke more about this on Radio 4.)

Insomnia

Trouble sleeping affects many people. It sucks energy and vitality from your life and can make existing problems feel worse. If you suffer from insomnia, you’ll know this. I’ll work with you on a programme to help you sleep better. Together we can help you get more sleep at night, and more joy, vitality, and life during the day.

Bereavement & loss

Grief is always painful. I can leave us at a loss with what the next step in our lives can or should be. I work at a bereavement service and help clients pick up the pieces after the worst happens.

LGBTQ+ people

My therapy room is a safe space for all queer people. Together, we explore who you are without judgement or pathology. Everyone is welcome. My pronouns are he/him.

Activists

The fight for a fairer, climate-safe world is is important, crucial work. And it can also be overwhelming and brutal. I help activists sustain themselves to keep themselves in the fight. Together we can tackle feelings of inadequacy, despair and burnout.
